Bob Penner

Bob Penner is Vice President of Asset Management for HomeFed Corporation as a Senior Financial Analyst and has been with the company for 13 years. Mr. Penner is directly responsible for managing a number of properties and projects. Among those responsibilities are the supervision of the company’s lifestyle shopping center and land development activities in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. In addition, Mr. Penner serves as the company’s representative in litigation matters, environmental cleanup efforts, restoration of degraded land in the Otay River Valley and negotiating land swaps with the City of Chula Vista to create additional parkland.

Before joining HomeFed, Mr. Penner worked as a financial analyst for Hewlett Packard. He also brings with him nearly a decade of experience in farming operations and agriculture. He has a B.S. in Agricultural Economics from the University of Nebraska and an M.B.A. from San Diego State University.

Mr. Penner is Chairman of the South County Economic Development Corporation and a member of the Urban Land Institute.
