Anthony J. Giacoia, P.E., is Vice President, Southeast for HomeFed Corporation and is responsible for leading HomeFed’s land acquisition and development efforts in the U.S. southeast. 

Mr. Giacoia has over 28 years of combined project management and design experience in land development, civil engineering, and environmental engineering and has managed single and multifamily residential, industrial, office, retail, and general infrastructure projects for private, municipal, and Department of Defense clients.  Mr. Giacoia has experience with all aspects of land development management and engineering, including civil site design, due diligence, proposal preparation, cost opinions, scheduling, consultant selection/oversight, and construction bid document preparation and administration.

As the Vice President, Southeast for HomeFed Corporation, Mr. Giacoia is responsible for locating, acquiring, and developing land for residential, multi-family and mixed-use communities, and will direct entitlement, due diligence, design and development.  Mr. Giacoia is a registered Professional Engineer in Virginia and North Carolina. 

He received a Master of Civil Engineering (with a minor in Business Management) from North Carolina State University, a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from Florida Atlantic University, and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Polytechnic University.”
