Jeff O’Connor
Vice President of Community Development
Jeff O’Connor, Vice President of Community Development for HomeFed Corporation, joined HomeFed in 1998. He is a professional engineer, licensed in California, Nevada and Arizona, who also holds a Class A Engineering Contractors license in the state of California. With 30 years of experience in land development and environmental engineering, Mr. O’Connor is responsible for managing design teams, overseeing construction superintendents, directing construction contractors and liaising with municipalities and agencies. He is involved in all of the company’s communities in California and Florida. Before joining HomeFed, he held positions with Nasland Engineering, designing master-planned communities; Geocon, performing environmental engineering; and the United States Navy, managing construction at Camp Pendleton and the Marine Corps Air Station, Yuma. Mr. O’Connor earned a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from San Diego State University and a certificate in Environmental Hazardous Waste from the University of California, San Diego. He serves on the executive leadership team of the board of directors for the San Diego Building Industry Association and as a board member for the California Building Industry Association.
