The Village of Escaya is the first village developed by HomeFed in the 22,899-acre Otay Ranch development, one of the largest and most successful master-planned communities in the United States.

HomeFed Corporation, the master developer, began selling its homes in June of 2017 and is now sold out.

The Village of Escaya has been designed as a traditional walkable village. The heart of the village is a lively 30,000-square-foot town center, a generously amenitized park, elementary school and resort-style swim club for residents. Paseos and trails link residents to Chula Vista’s extensive trail system and the future 11,375-acre Otay Ranch Preserve, the largest urban open space preserve in the San Diego region.
